Looks more like a Peterbilt possibly a 351, the Autocar emblem is either black and not oval shaped or the logo is spelled out, the logo above in the pic is clearly red. comments? -- Last edit: 2009-09-18 01:35:35 |

That is a Peterbilt model 341, which was the shorter-hooded cousin to the model 351 (and single drive axle 281). With the floatation tires and projecting front bumper, and space behind the cab, this is a concrete mixer. Pink and white were Kaiser Permanente Concrete's colors. The 341 was specifically a vocational chassis for mixer and dump applications that used smaller engines than over the road trucks. Note that the fender skirt behind the fender extends all the way past the door hinge. On the longer-hooded 351 it doesn't make it that far, as there is more hood. -- Last edit: 2020-10-09 12:10:20 |
