AEC Regent III or Leyland RT?

Er ... we can't see the radiator, the registration number or the fleet number. How the hell can we know whether it's an RT, RTW or RTL? (And now, someone's going to say we can identify it from the garage.)

Perhaps.. If its 'WG' West Green they did operate the Leyland RTL.
"The Leylands tended to be garaged separately from their AEC counterparts, perhaps to avoid confusion in servicing in the wee small hours of the morning, perhaps to minimise the quantity of spare parts required at garages." from http://www.countrybus.org/RT/RTL.htm

The early RTL garages included 'WG' West Green.
Earlier they had RTWs, perhaps earlier than the picture because they were moved to central routes.

All this needs checking by a bus expert - its all I can guess - I could be completely wrong.

AEC = RT (1-4825)
AEC = SRT(1-160)
Leyland = RTL(1-1631)
Leyland = RTW(1-500)

Je vous fais grâce du AEC = RTC (1) !

Sinon, faites vos jeux !

'RT family' is as close as you'll get. Note WG garage closed in 1962!
