Sorry, I forgot- plastic, not metal, haha! Here in eastern Europe from a long time goes a joke- that the Vettes even at the time before 1990 vere build from imported recicled Trabbis! Wonder if someone in States have heard this also...

Fairly certain this is a 69. The 68 models had push button key locks to open the door while the 69 had more flush key lock.

Agreed....1968. Also no chrome "Stingray" script emblem just above the side gills. Which was new for '69.

Although it DOES have side-pipes, and this was not a factory option until '69, common sense suggests that they were likely added....rather than removing the emblems and updating door lock releases.
