Looks like the official van design. Apparently per Mobil Motor Lama and CintaMobil, these were actually exist here BEFORE Toyota Astra Motor was a thing, although I probably guess these were still parallel imports earlier, even after TAM's establishment in 1971. Toyota Astra Motor would take over and started assembling first generation models locally at least in 1974 (a year after this movie was released), albeit pickup trucks only. Vans after TAM's official pickup truck version would be later built by local coachbuilders. Overall, I think it's definitely the official van design coming from parallel imports, especially I don't know what the coachbuilt versions based on TAM's official pickup truck version looked like. I haven't researched this generation yet. |
