It looks to me a 9 passenger version by the first thumb. |

I am almost sure this is a 1955 Chevrolet Two-Ten Beauville (9 passengers). |

No trim on front fender or windowsill: Two-Ten. The interior door panel is also that of a Two-Ten. Beauville was a Bel Air nameplate. There was both a 6-passenger and a 9-passenger version of the Two-Ten in 1955. |

Yes, and the name changed. Two-Ten 6 passengerr was the Two-Ten Townsman and the 9 passenger was the Two-Ten Beauville. wasn't it ? |

I'm pretty sure there was no such thing as a Two-Ten Beauville until the 1956 model year. |

In the first thumb I have the strong impression someone sitteng in e third row of seats. |

There is a 3rd seat. There's no question about it, but whether it came out from the factory that way or if it was installed later on is not my call. |

Yes. I am just wondering if such version was an export only version or furnished by the Canadian factories. It would be interesting to kow in the case. |

I can't find any reference to any 9-passanger wagon, Two-Ten nor Bel Air in 1955. |

I remember reading it; must have been a red herring. |
