I did a little sleuthing and found a possible answer. The Facebook link provided (hopefully it works for everyone) is from the Santa Rosa Fire Department History Page (movie was apparently filmed in Santa Rosa, CA based on IMDb info) and one of the commenters had identified this vehicle as a 1947 Kenworth/Van Pelt (Tilly). I do not know which Kenworth models would have been available as a fire apparatus. Link: Link to "www.facebook.com" .
