In the film, the scene with the policeman is after Marion's first night on the road (shown here in the comic book), but she is in the dark coloured car. After this encounter she trades-in the dark car on another; the lighter coloured one which could be apple green for all we know. The suspicious policeman can be seen watching the car yard from across the road, at his 1959 Ford Custom 300. |
