The overturned vehicle appears to be a prison bus:![]() Alas, no other view of the tow truck which I think is much cooler than the Crown Vic. If it can be identified, feel free to modify this entry accordingly. |

Most likely a Crown Security Coach /v476670.html /vehicle_10612-Crown-Security-Coach.html /vehicle_58907-Crown-Security-Coach.html |

Tow truck is a Peterbilt (likely 379). Looks to say "John's" on the boom. |

^ Yes, that appears to say "John's" indeed. |

The Crown coach looks like it has an implied role. |

Yes, indeed, and it's not just an implied role: the main villain is shown entering this bus but I missed it as it's just brief cuts to and from it while Vin Diesel is facing off with Juan Fernandez and I wasn't paying attention. The scene shown here in the main pic is shown a few minutes later, after the showdown, with a newscaster helpfully explaining some gunmen sprung "the cartel leader" (= main villain) from the coach. I'll add a listing for it momentarily. |
