A regional car magazine and two news sites suggests that this came out to the market around early 2004 (production properly began in late 2003). Two trims were initially available: an "S" with a 3.8 V6 or "SS" with the 5.7 LS1 V8. The V6 would be dropped with the 2005 model refresh. Only 990 or so examples were sold across the Middle East during it's three model year run.
