DAF555 ◊ 2008-09-16 22:53	It is a 1956-58 Kapitän, the grille matches and the door is similar to the Rekord. But it lacks the chrome trim under the sidewindow that the 1957 Rekord would have.

DAF555 ◊ 2008-09-16 23:48	I missed a significant detail here, the door handle. That makes it a Rekord, Kapitän have their handles further up. The chrometrim might be there after all, it is thin. And the grilles are also similar on the two cars, it´s more "flat" on the Rekord but an optic illusion might make us think of the Kapitän first. This two-tone paint is rare on a Rekord.
