It's meant to be a Morris Mini Cooper Mk1, probably S - and they've nearly achieved it, with lots of correct detail including 10" wheels, small Mk1 rear lights, and the curved Mk1 bonnet front edge. But the door is wrong - no sliding window or external hinges - so Mk3 or later. Either a Mk1 rebuilt with wrong door (which because of the hinges would be difficult) or a Mk3 or later carefully retro'd to replicate Mk1. If you started with a Mk1 wreck and reshelled it, various modern reshells are available but as far as I know are accurate for whichever Mk you're looking for, so that idea doesn't solve the anomalies. Entering as Mk1 Cooper S replica. |
