I think it's a Mitsubishi Jeep J20 series or J40 with a hard-top and a pickup bed. While Mitsubishi Jeep doesn't offer a 4-door pickup option, the same car produced by Toyota under the name Toyota Jeep BJ offers a 2-door pickup version with the kinda same metal bars seen in the anime. The glass on the side doors and the front-mounted mirrors can be found on the Mitsubishi Jeep, while the closest thing I found for the pickup version of the Toyota Jeep BJ is from this tweet https://twitter.com/TOYOTA_AM/status/1370932697422561280/photo/4 |

The fascia looks more in line with a Willys MB though... I think this is Made-For-Anime unless there's some sort of a Gladiator [JT] ancestor out there that I'm unaware of. |

only one i know would be the CJ8 Scrambler but it would probably too new for our friend here and was 2-doors only.. |
