This is listed as a '53 Hudson Jet. At first glance, I thought so too but on closer inspection, I saw the divided windshield which Jets did not have. Also, the hood ornament is much too small and the grille doesn't quite match. What we have here is a '51/'52 Dodge. Changing the listing. |

The '53 Jet (non-Super) had a narrow hood ornament like this one. Good spotting on the windshield, it flew over my head. Another notable difference is the crease in the hood present on Jets. |

Good point about the smaller hood ornament on the base Jet. I had thought that was only true in 1954 but I now realize the '53 base model also had it. |
