I found in "A Source Book of Passenger Vehicles - edited by Bart H.Vanderveen, WARD LOCK LTD LONDON (1973)" a 1931 Daimler COG 5 SD bodied by United that matches pretty well.

Thanks to Richard Smith for the above list. I can’t decipher the plate on the above “Mary Evans” picture except that the first two characters appear to be GO. As you will see from the pictures in the list I can find no exact matches for the coachwork, except to offer that London Lorries looks about the closest, but the design of the draught excluder panes above the main windows looks different. Scammell and Nephew bodies are similarly doubtful. I shall enter as a 1931 AEC Regal I, coachwork unknown, and keep looking.

Is IMPDB interested in these images?
