I believe this is a brand new 1985 version which was only sold in RHD countries and a few others, and thus just Fiorino. See discussion here: /vehicle.php?id=15954 Five bar grille isn't really visible (but maybe barely perceivable), but it has the bigger and squarer mirrors which are listed for that facelift. Indeed this 1984 one still has the older style mirrors: /vehicle.php?id=521470 Our first one ![]() |

I am sorry but I don't agree. Both colour (Bianco Vela code 0684) and front end (bumpers, grille and position of the front indicators) say a 1978-82 one. If you look here thee front lights are inside the bumper and not in the space between the bumper and the grille. The later one had got the front end of the Brazilian built Fiat 147 and was built in Brazil. -- Last edit: 2023-09-10 11:35:14 |

New addition to info I'd given before about Fiorinos on various pages, now using 1990 Glass's edition (which for commercials, hardly ever mentions body facelifts). Launched here Jan 80, unchanged to Dec 85 when something happened to increase GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) and payload capacity (now listed in metric), dropped Jan 88. Always 1049cc petrol, 50bhp - no other choice. In July 88 we got the New Fiorino, 1301cc petrol(67 bhp)/1697cc diesel(59 bhp), higher GVW but reduced payload - I guess this was Uno-based?? EGP plate came with B (June-July 85) or F (Sept 88-July 89) which is too late. As the Peugeot 505 has produced a plate date of Nov 85, we can take a mid-85 plate here. |

Interesting info. So I guess UK got only Fiorino naming, not 127 Fiorino, being launched there in 1980? Yes, 1988+ is Uno-based, Brazilian-built one ![]() |
