It is indeed! One of circa 300 AMI 6 sold in the USA... It was introduced in May 1962 and sold AFAIK, only during 1962 and 1963. The US version had different bumpers (well visible here), all red taillights, different license plate lights and opening button for the trunk, quad headlights, different (round) front turn indicators and a different grille.

It's a studio scene, everything in this show was filmed in or around LA.

Yeah, the building on the left is a set and the industrial-looking structure on the right is pretty obviously a soundstage. :)

Ah, that's why I thought this scene tooks place in Southern-Germany or Austria...
