... was Buckinghamshire, April-Oct 63. SP250 was popular with police forces, although it's always London Met who get mentioned who had 26 to 30 of them. |

The 26th and final SP delivered to the Met. was ALM742B, which last changed hands in 2014 for £50,400! - largely still in police 'trim', with the exception of the fitment of wire wheels. All the police SPs were fitted with automatic transmission as far as I am aware. Other police forces which used SP250s were Liverpool, Manchester, & Bristol. There were more which escape me at present. |
