Full Morris factory in Aus opened 1952, but there was earlier assembly of CKD kits from UK, maybe 1950 onwards. PV not listed in my book of what BMC things were made in Aus with the first Morris-Commercials mentioned as 1952+ LC4 and LD2, but I'm guessing some PVs also happened. |

1) The PV ceased to exist in production in 1952. 2) The LD commenced in 1952. Why would you tool up in Australia to build an obsolete (or at best obsolescent) model. Production commenced in 1946, in U.K., so suggest ‘46 + and U.K. production, or c.k.d. kit is more likely than anything locally built in 1952. |

OK - switching to 1950 as probable CKD, The book is good, but not totally watertight for some vans - doesn't list JBs and J2s for instance, which our collection and local comments confirm were built. |
