Yes, Mike, that's what it looks like ... but it seems awful quick for an old York Diesel. I think there's a 3-litre V6 in there, like they used to fit in ambulances :D

In Germany these badges started in 1971 along with the new front fascia on V4 models. Don't know if it was the same in the UK?

If it's an Essex V6, it should be heard. The sound is distinctive, especially compared to the York diesel.
