Looks like a black grille update which I think was 78+ or thereabouts. Apparently Sherpas were good sellers in Italy as they were narrower than other vans of the time so better able to fit narrow town/village streets. No idea about who did this conversion, but it doesn't look like a typical British thing which were usually based on the minibus and kept to the original van size. So an Italian conversion?? |

I found this one, but it's different: https://live.staticflickr.com/8162/29349868760_753cac67e6_z.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/1977/31319118177_f51a92f6d3_b.jpg Anyway I'm not a camper expert but I'm pretty sure these were Italian conversions, I even remember seeing a similar many years ago. |

^ I can tell you class B and C are excessively hard to find coach builder because in used adverts they aren't even listed just base vehicle like "1995 Fiat Ducato camper " no mention of coach builder you have more chances when the coach builder changes the cabin bodywork too -- Last edit: 2025-07-06 13:45:23 |

Yes, indeed I noticed it. Also I believe there used to be many smaller and lesser known builders. We can count mostly on scripts/logos on the camper itself ![]() |

That one has a German plate. Maybe it's not by an Italian coachbuilder? |
