TYX 383(?) = London June 57 to Aug 58, "allocated in blocks". Mk1 grille with vertical divider (and Mk2 did not happen until mid-1962). Strangest thing I stumbled on today - which included a Procol Harum box-set in Oxfam, cans of coffee Guinness in Tesco, and the departure of our shortest-stay Prime Minister - was a Thames Trader double-decker bus for cyclists - here and here. |

I knew about the Trader cycle buses but some nice links dsl. Of course Trader coaches not unusual as there was a bus/coach chassis in the range the 570E but double deckers on this chassis certainly were ! -- Last edit: 2022-10-21 06:19:13 |
