TYX 383(?) = London June 57 to Aug 58, "allocated in blocks". Mk1 grille with vertical divider (and Mk2 did not happen until mid-1962).

Strangest thing I stumbled on today - which included a Procol Harum box-set in Oxfam, cans of coffee Guinness in Tesco, and the departure of our shortest-stay Prime Minister - was a Thames Trader double-decker bus for cyclists - here and here.

The famous Dartford Tunnel decker disasters.

I knew about the Trader cycle buses but some nice links dsl.

Of course Trader coaches not unusual as there was a bus/coach chassis in the range the 570E but double deckers on this chassis certainly were !
