A long script on the bootlid, but not Sovereign because it lacks chrome around the side windows. Then perhaps Executive? But is it also LWB?

 It is LWB, so 1998+. Although I don't know permutations for J, agree it doesn't look Sovereign or other high spec - also no tints. Executive in UK was rename of normal XJ8 from Sept 2000.

XJ Executive V8 listed from late 97 (start of the X308). I'm not sure what's Executive about it compared to the XJ8 also listed, as this looks just like our XJ8 (barring chrome mirrors).
