 looks like a 2005-2007 V6 badge on the right side of the tailgate. 2001-2007 V6's were only offered in XLT trim. |

From what I have found, 2001 "Two models are available, XLS ($17,645) and XLT ($19,195). Each offers a choice of front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive; four-wheel drive adds $1625 to the price. All come standard with Ford's four-cylinder Zetec engine. An additional $1400 buys the optional 3.0-liter V6." 2002: "With the V6 engine, which is standard in the XLT version for 2002 and an option in the XLS" 2003-2005: "Power for the XLS comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Zetec engine producing 130 horsepower and 135 pound-feet of torque. A 3.0-liter, 201-horsepower Duratec V6 and four-speed automatic are offered as an option. XLT comes standard with the Duratec V6." And it looks like all the Limited models came with the V6. 2006-2007: "The 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine comes standard on the XLS and XLT.
