Thumbnails 1 and 2 the long wheelbase truck is not an Austin FE at all.

The nearest I can think of is an ERF or a forward control Guy wolf?

All FE tractor units were based on the 5-ton, I don't know of any exceptions other than the normal control Austin Loadstar for British Railways had its own lighter version.

Thumbs 1 and 2 are certainly not the FE. Guy and Thornycroft used the cab shown, so I think that your suggestion howls quite well.
