It is a T-26TU Model 1933 made at the Bolshevik factory in Leningrad. |

I'm not an expert on Soviet stuff but I think the original comment was mistaken. T-26TU was a command version of the 1931 (twin turret) model. All of the tanks in this image are regular 1933 model T-26s. |

^ the command version had those antennas around single turret ![]() https://www.the-blueprints.com/blueprints/tanks/tanks-t/70080/view/t-26tu_m1933/ mentioned here "The T-26TU (TU stands for tank upravleniya or "command tank") was equipped with a radio and frame antenna on the turret for platoon commanders. I asked one of our Soviet guys ("our" being Tanks Encyclopedia, which I write for. The community discord server is free for anyone to join if you ever want to ask questions there). He said that there was no such thing as a T-26TU at all, so those websites are wrong. I could have told you that anyway that they are not reliable. There weren't "command tank" T-26s in the sense of like, a Panzerbefehlswagen. The T-26s that had radios were platoon leader tanks, since the Soviets didn't have enough radios to equip all of them. You could have multiple radio-equipped T-26s working together, and of course that would be preferable when possible. |
