I'm dropping the "Commander" part of this listing. The subject car could be either a Champion or a Commander. Looking close, you will see the car is a 4-door and is a photo-shopped Regal-trimmed sedan and as such, it could be either model. ALL true 1951 convertibles had bright stone guards and this car has a rubber one. Rubber guards combined with bright rockers = Regal trim. This is the only trim line shared by both Champions and Commanders. (Customs and Deluxes were all Champions, while State and Land Cruisers were all Commanders.) |
