No Aus assembly as far as I know, but NZ-assembled Rovers exported to Aus from 1971. |

Two similar cars played - one probably 1968-1969 with replaced (1971+) bonnet & grill and oldfashioned (pre-1970?) silver interior mirror, another (in night scenes) real 1971+ with modern black interior mirror. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Compare No.1 & No.2 tails. There were 3 stages of ROVER boot badge. We have 1st and 3rd compared in the last 2 thumbs. The 2nd stage was 1970-71 in last year of Mk1 and first year only of Mk2 with separate R O V E R letters on lower left of boot - example. The plaque badge for 3rd type was Oct 71+. |
