This link above said this body is by Binder, a renown French bodybuilder particularly devoted on Hispano-Suiza... Originally built as a six-wheelers for the King of Greece, who was destituted before its completion, and sold therefore to a Hollywood movie producer...

Extra info : carrosserie Binder, bastardized by Hollywood ?

What´s confusing is that in another (earlier) movie My Lips Betray (1933) (the movie is not traceable at the moment), the same car is seen with 4 wheels and then 10 years later it has 6 wheels, which leaves me somewhat confused.

So this car was perhaps originally with 4 wheels before someone, someday in Hollywood decided that it should have 6 wheels (as originally conceived in the 1920s).
