 I think that this is a "made for movie" imitation. The front is built up, but there isn't any armour covering the sides.

 Yeah, Gag Halfrunt, I also considered that and agree. The armouring could be inside of the cargo area, but it all somehow doesn't look right. At least they put some effort into that conversion - doesn't always happen...
