In case of licence production the origin field should really refer to origin of the make, same like with Zastavas, Polish Fiats, Ladas, Seats, but also Dacias, Avias etc. etc. For me the "build in" field is just an additional info for our "global ![]() |

Theoretically yes. But personally I'm an opponent of such flag combination (like here) for cars produced under licence, it is good for foreign plants where cars are made under the same make like in the homeland. For example, in the past mentioned Seat of Tofas were of course closely connected with Fiat, but they also could make a lot of changes in their licence cars (how many and what underbody differences they had we usually can't say from the pic). Such thing is impossible in today's plants in sort of Fiat in Poland or VW in Belgium, which are just branches of the foreign concerns. |
