There were Fiat in the various European countries and in the US, but were there Seat outside Spain at that time? Or maybe this scene is in Spain ?

I didn't see the film, but something make me thinking that the scene is in a spanish town

The Rolls has a plate form Paris (75)

and at least a part of the story is supposed to be in Paris, so I think that this scene is in Paris ;)

Whatever the town it is not a Fiat 125 but a SEAT 1430..the 125 has bumpers much more high, very close to the grill and not a flat bonnet like this one

It also could be a Polski Fiat or FSO, although I doubt they where already produced at that time...

First year for Polski-Fiat 125p were 1968, but this looks different.
Here is example of early 125p: http://www.motoforum.pl/Magazyn/200513/125p_01.html

You are right, the indicators are not in the right place...

It's a SEAT 1430 for sure. I know, because I owned one... So there ;-)
Mine was acually badged SEAT 1430, as it was the actual display model for the Amsterdam RAI car show in the seventies. When imports really started, all cars were badged as SEAT 124S and sold through FIAT dealerships! But that was in Holland, don't know about the rest of the world...

(hmm, I still have that badge somewhere, I'll have it scanned for proof, lol)

some more stuff: both headlights and taillights were the same as the FIAT 125 and the Polski 125.
