Yes, the Thomassima II does appear in the movie 'Fuller Report' (abbreviated U.S. title), but is probably actually 'on screen' for even less time than it appears in THX 1138 - a matter of seconds in fact. It appears in a night racing scene filmed at Modena autodrome, lasting two minutes, approximately 12½ minutes into the film.

It is the red car following behind the 'hero' (actor Ken Clark) Dick Worth's car. The Thomassima II flashes by the camera (low angle shot), headlights blazing - twice. If you didn't know exactly what car you were looking for, you probably wouldn't even recognise it as the same car.
Blink - and you'll certainly miss it !

Interestingly, there were plenty of colour 'still' photos of the Thomassima II taken by motoring journalist Pete Coltrin at Modena autodrome (fortunately in daylight), at the time the movie was being filmed. Many of them appear in the various 'Tom Meade' articles in car magazines - and some of them will be familiar to fans of this car.

Incidentally, the film's 'star car' driven by 'hero' Dick Worth, both in the aforementioned night racing scenes, and the 'track test sessions' ...
.... later in the movie (1 hour 5 minutes in, for 4 minutes - including some superb 'in-car' footage) is the .... Maserati Tipo 65.

Someone else can write that up. Better still, why not crib this: http://forums.autosport.com/showthread.php?postid=2829949#post2829949 ;)

It would be great if someone could post a 'still frame' of the Thomassima II from the 'Fuller Report'. I have a copy of the movie on DVD, but absolutely no idea how to edit this (nor any time). Probably the best shot of the Thomassima II (low angle, headlights blazing) is at 12:45 in.

Anybody ? ;)

Taking an only capture doesnt take time at all, just learn how to do it and you can submit it yourself

Thanks for the info!

I don't have the film, but if you have it on DVD and a computer (which you obviously have) and the computer has a DVD drive then there is probably some software installed with which you can view the film on you PC. Most of these viewer programmes have a 'make screenshot' button. That's all you need.

In the forum you can read how to submit pictures. If it is only a single shot from the film you can easily use http://imageshack.us/ for that and paste the image here.

Er, I think I know how to remote host an image, thanks, Alexander. ;)

This rare B&W photo isn't actually a shot from the movie 'Fuller Report' - but something possibly a little better. :)

Taken during a break in filming, it shows bare-chested actor Ken Clark, who played the hero Dick Worth, stood by the Thomassima II, as is Tom Meade, the car's designer - in shades and dark shirt. In the background you can also see the Maserati Tipo 65 which was '(stunt) driven' by Dick Worth in the racing / track-test scenes, and is really the 'star car' of this movie.

Sadly, the Thomassima II, itself, had little more than a 'cameo' role in the movie, and is on screen for probably less than 10 seconds. :(
