Holden Commodore VN or VP? -- Last edit: 2021-01-10 02:54:37 |

It could be a VN Commodore or a Toyota Lexcen (T1). Not a VP/T2 though, because if you look at the plastic trim around the rear pillar, it's 2 pieces that are joined together to form a sort of curve. With the VP, the trim was one piece with a real curve - I guess the technology to do this wasn't available in Australia in 1988. See here to see the trim on the VP for comparison: /vehicle_41525-Holden-Commodore-VP-1991.html Note: although the VP gained the curved trim at the rear, curiously, the equivalent Lexcen T2 did not. The T2 went one step further than the VN/T1, by having a non-curved angular trim instead, probably in an attempt to further differentiate it from the Commodore.
