dsl ◊ 2020-10-26 15:03	After the Mini was relaunched in J in 1985, it gobbled them up at a huge rate with lots of special-for-J model names and editions - there's even a story that Japan asked for a Mini with MG Metro engine on late 80s which was knocked back but inspired the development of Rover Mini Cooper instead. Agree this has Anniversary stickers rather than Cooper with 30, 35 and 40 as main contenders, all of which had extra export colours compared to UK selection. My Mini bible says there was a unique-for-J version of the 35 as the "35o Classic" in charcoal black with beige interior which becomes my guess here, although without knowing the full list of what was sold in J.
