RM shows '155' but 'Kensington Queen Annes Gate'(Can't read it but I know,) this was an intermediate destination for the 49. Another picture of an RML with blind number 207A, is the actual destination location. If this bus was in service and hired for the film, it would have come from Merton Garage(AL) only place where the 155 & 49 were garaged together. It looks like it was shot outside the 'Adelphi' building, just up the road from the rear of the Savoy Hotel. As it's very 1930's art deco, always being seen in the 'Poirot' TV series. |

It could be ?53 CLT According to the DVLA database under 'Leyland AEC' 353 CLT and 453 CLT were first registered in 1962 and are still taxed for use on the road. 553 CLT was first registered in 1963 but is untaxed since 1985. |
