The bus that rolls is RM1072 (registration when new 72CLT), although RM1924 (ALD924B) was also used in shooting.

The main picture was clearly filmed in in North America, perhaps Toronto since that was one of the locations. (Note the American-size license plates and the direction of traffic.) Where is this supposed to be in the film?

It appears to be Yonge Street, north of Dundas in downtown Toronto. I haven't seen the movie, but it probably is a stand-in for London.

It is not explicitly said where this scene is set, even if I guess that it is supposed to be London. The scene is extremely short: the bus is taken from traffic and sent to desert :D

This bus was owned and operated by my grandfather, seen driving it in the posted screenshot. Imported from London to Niagara. This scene was set in London, but filmed downtown Toronto. They then used another one of my grandfather's buses in the next part of the scene, to crash into the desert sands, filmed on a Toronto set.

72CLT = date of first registration : January 1962.
