1997 Pierce Quantum
Origin to the Independence, Ohio Fire Department, this truck was designated as Engine 1 until 2014 when the department took delivery of an E-One, (changed designation to Engine 2, as we see marked as)… then redesigned again to Engine 2012 in 2019. In 2020/2021, it was refurbished and now looks brand new and still in service changing its designation once again to Engine 2011.

Indeed, sir. Not just the Canadian-esque raised cab made it stand out, but its paint job is quite unusual compared to the E-One that kicked it out of first-due service before the refurb.

Their Truck company (2021) retains the similar paint job that the Quantum used to sport.

Yes, definitely. It’s a 2014 E-One Cyclone II, also owned and operated by the Independence Fire Department. It was built and ordered to replace the 1997 Pierce from frontline service.
