A bizarre historic detail about the "Q": it never appeared in the DIN-range for plates. So it had to be introduced in 1990 for the East German counties Quedlinburg and Querfurt - but for some unknown reasons some morons in the ministery refused that and planned the codes "EDL" and "EFT" - but the complains, that this was bullshit, were successful, so "QDL" and "QFT" came finally.

Introduced only in 1972, I wonder if an amateur team could afford to disassemble a brand new motorcycle. If so, maybe they unscrewed the middle exhaust for repair?
