I think this is Ross Jensen in his #18 Maserati 250F, but again not sure when did this race happen (surely in NZ, that's for sure, but when?)

Ardmore GP, NZ, 11 Jan. 1958. I think main and thumbs pics are maybe from one of the two 30 min "heats" they did to decide the grid order for the (longer) main race. Probably this car had the #18 on the right side of the nose for the main event unlike here which is on top (or the other way around!). As I found other online pics of same car/driver from apparently the same event with different placing of the "18" I was confused for a bit.
Chassis is 2508, a Sterling Moss-private team car raced by him and others (Hawthorn etc) before sent to NZ and R. Jensen re-numbered 2513. Later came back to Europe and got its original #2508 back. I think it's better to file this under its original chassis #.
