It' s a '67 Dodge Coronet Station Wagon NOT a Polara or Monaco Wagon although it does look very similar especially in the rear, The taillights are similar looking, But the wheelbase is shorter than the Polara and Monaco Wagons, This Coronet Wagon is powered by the 225 cubic inch Slant 6 engine with a 1 barrel carburetor and a 3 speed Torque Flite automatic transmission, This is Reese Witherspoon's character's Mom's car. |

I know for a definite fact that the engine in this Coronet along with the rest of the car is COMPLETELY worn out!! I can easily tell that the pistons & rings are worn by all the smoke from the tailpipe, I don't exactly think that's regular exhaust smoke from a cold engine either, I wonder if the transportation coordinator found this Coronet in a junkyard or sitting in someone's backyard and put gas, spark plugs, wires & oil and maybe air in the tires since they knew that Reese Witherspoon's characters Vanessa wouldn't be driving it for very long before she was picked up by Kiefer Sutherland's character in his Explorer. |

Despite the grungy, beat up and dilapidated condition of this Coronet, I think it's a cool car, I love classic Chrysler vehicles like this, I have a mint condition Baby Blue '67 Coronet Sedan with a 383 4 barrel big block V8 with dual exhausts, Power steering, Torque Flite automatic transmission, reconditioned original factory AC, Power windows and AM/FM radio. |
