I was wrong for several motivation... The reason I wrote 1976 was the colour but, looking better it could be silver instead of light metallic blue. Secondly these bumpers are pre-1974. The tail light are the European 1971+ version but the amber part arrived in the USA for 1973, So a 1973. Do you agree ? I don't want to write it after my stupid mistake. Do you agree ? Thanks for the comment and correction, night club. |

I realized it right away as they didn't sell the 16 here past 1972, which would make it a problem to be a 1973, unless it's not a US model. |

So I checked on eBay for 1972 brochures, and found one with the taillight (brochure was dated 2-1972): There was also a magazine advertisement that showed an older rear I think, that was from 11-1971: Then I looked at the 1971, from the US Renault Sale Brochure that year: The 1970 ads and brochures show the old taillight design: So it looks like 1971 is the change year -- Last edit: 2019-11-23 22:05:09 |

Thanks. In the case of VW they shifted to amber rear òòights in 1973 as well as Mercedes and BMW. Fiat shifted for 1977. |
