DynaMike ◊ 2007-10-10 12:14	This model was new for 1947. But the first models had taillights in a proeminent chrome housing that would have been visible here. By the absence of these, it must be a 1950 m.y. (the first 'bullet-nose'). The black stoneguard indicates the basic DeLuxe model, whereas the better equiped Regal DeLuxe had chrome stoneguards. No differences between the L6 Champion and the V8 Commander visible on this picture.
Commander 57 ◊ 2010-02-09 20:20	No reason why it couldn't possibly be a '51 or '52 Champion Deluxe. (All '51 & '52 Commanders had bright rocker trim which this car doesn't) Those plain wheel covers were introduced at mid-season '50 and carried into 1951 and 1952. -- Last edit: 2012-09-06 21:37:48
