1974 Impalas looked similar to the Caprices, but they had metal strips at the top of the grille and bowtie logos in the middle. This one doesn't. 1975 Impalas & Bel Airs had 1974 Caprice grilles with bowtie logos on top, instead of the Fleur-de-Lys crests that Caprices came with. |

This is a 75 Impala "Sport Coupe"...kind of rare. This was the entry level model for Impalas, but many people optioned them with power windows/locks, vinyl tops, etc...because they liked the no-post hardtop roofline better than the custom coupe with it's huge fixed quarter windows. This roofline was only produced in 74/75, it was similar to a 71-73 Custom Coupe, but with a flat back window. -- Last edit: 2008-05-19 10:29:49 |
