No sight of the reg. number? Might be a Vulcan. |

The final proof is still missing, but I think it is a Proctor 5/6-ton Diesel (1947-52). |

Alexander I agree Proctor as here.... (95% certain - for the details seen) ![]() ![]() Link? to the photo / source is http://www.chrishodgephotos.co.uk/funpics/pageww/pageww.htm The cab door looks right. The hinge position and side-lamp. The only thing that concerns me is the small seam at the lower-front of the mud-guard but that could be a slight variation in cabs I guess. The missing bumper is no problem as I think, as trucks were not always fitted with these. - edit looking at another thumbnail of the Leyland Cub I think the bumper is just visible and it confirms (100%) the three-bladed design on the Proctor. -- Last edit: 2007-09-26 13:16:56 |

Good image, Sunbar. Now I am really happy with the classification. The remains of the bumper are still there, I would say: ![]() |

The credit must go to Alexander... ![]() I discounted Proctor in the first place because I didn't think it looked right. ![]() Another new make as well for IMCDb. A very rare truck, even back in the 1960s. |
