There was Irish MG and Riley assembly by Booth Poole, and the MG B is mentioned separately (188 roadsters from December 1964 and 216 GTs from March 1966 with production ending in February 1976. But nothing found for early 50s and TD sources only mention Abingdon. So assuming UK build, although would not be surprised if some local-build did happen. |

New info - local MG assembly started before WW2 and was underway in 1936, continuing until at least 1975. 98 TDs were built locally 1950-53. HIP 540 = Kilkenny, Jan 62 to Jan 63, so a re-registration for whatever reason. |
