Definitely a fake. Clearly a European fire truck with fake department decals. Malibu, CA doesn't have it's own department, they're served by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

It's an south african fire truck, for me it's japan origin.

seems JB was wrong, not japanese but can see why he thought so

but a 70s, early 80s Magirus-Deutz , the Magirus had this small window just on passenger side but since South africa being RHD it means the window is on the other side , maybe that's why no closeup of this truck !!!
