antp ◊ 2005-10-08 19:58	I do not know if it is a coincidence or not that this car is visible in this scene (in a car wreck in France). Most of the movie is made in Romania, and this Citroën Axel is the French version of the Oltcit, made and sold in Romania.

Wheels are very Renault 12 because they are Dacia 1300 wheels...In 1988, Oltcit started to integrated Dacia parts in the Oltcit. In the agreement with Citroen, it was something of course not permitted. Anyway, in 1990 the divorced is pronounced, and the Oltcit RT or RM became Oltena. Gearbox and outside brake disk are also Dacia.
antp ◊ 2008-02-20 16:00	I first thought that this was in France, but it may be in Romania actually, as anyway most of the movie was filmed there. In the same scene the XM is visible: /vehicle_11550-Citroen-XM-1989.html Its plate is not especially French (and could be a fake one), and the cars seen in foreground are not very French anyway...
