very common in Rajasthan as Taxis...chk the yellow JODHPUR registration, and new style plastic rear cluster. Its gives 16 kmpl of diesel...which is very economical. |

In India, this LWB version is known as the CJ-4...the only country where this designation has ever been used other than in an experimental context. Elsewhere other than India its known as the CJ540..confusing or what!!!! |

https://auto.ndtv.com/mahindra-cars/thar In terms of looks there is a clear difference between the two variants; on one hand the CRDe variant with all new additions looks dapper, while on the other hand the DI trim sticks to the mundane styling. In front, the DI variant gets a classic grille, round shaped head lamps and large air-dams. While the CRDe trims comes with an assertive bumper, muscular wheel arches, reworked canopy and tubular side footsteps. Maybe the DI (direct injection) thing could go to extra info. |
