Albion Claymore springs to mind. I think this and the Hillman Husky belong to the Road Research Laboratory. ![]() |

Almost certainly the Hillman Husky and the mobile unit are from the Road Research Laboratory as they are seen in other RRL films. Rear view of mobile unit-test lab. Quite possibly an Albion Claymore for size and cab location plus no grille seen? But nothing to confirm it. |

I believe there is a strong possibly its the same chassis that was used on the RRL vehicle as the 1957 Dennis Lancet Mobile laboratory, as previously identified by JCB. A Dennis Lancet based mobile laboratory for the Building Research Station of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research for service. Link to "archive.commercialmotor.com"![]() Nothing found to confirm it but the proportions look about right including the 'cab-forward' design. |
