dsl ◊ 2011-03-18 00:58	LNF xxxV series was issued in Manchester, June-July 80. Suggests car was not imported until 1-2 years after being produced. May not be a coincidence that GM USA distribution has been handled by Bauer-Millett, based in Manchester since sometime in the 70s/80s - http://www.bauer-millett.com/meet_the_team.asp#/home - and unofficial distributors/importers for other US makes.
